Artist statement

I believe filmmaking is built on collaboration. Producing allows me to create the environment where stories can thrive by bringing people together, solving problems, and helping ambitious ideas become reality. My favorite part of the process is working with others, and I believe that strong preparation is what gives a production the freedom to be creative. Every meeting, schedule, and contingency plan creates the foundation for a set that can adapt, collaborate, and succeed.

I also believe it’s important to stay open to every role in filmmaking. Understanding the responsibilities and challenges of each department helps me better support my team when problems arise. Being useful on set is one of the qualities I value most in myself—whether that means anticipating needs, stepping in wherever I’m needed, or making sure everyone has the resources to do their best work. To me, the strongest productions are built on trust, preparation, and people who are willing to help each other succeed.

MAdame Marseille

A short documentary based in Marseille, france.

the story begins in marie-josie antique shop and explores how cultural diversity and a history of trade have impacted local artist, businesses, and way of life.

Producer of madame Marseille, overseeing the logistical and creative coordination of an international production. Working with a skeleton crew, we adapted quickly to the demands of filming in a foreign country while navigating language barriers, cultural differences, and a fast-paced documentary environment. Through collaboration, flexibility, and problem-solving, our team successfully captured an authentic story that reflects both the resilience of the crew and the people at the heart of the film.

CZechmate

CzechMate follows a young Czech man who wrote letters to simply learn English, but when an American woman answers his letter, their correspondence becomes an unexpected love story spanning countries, languages, and thousands of miles.

As my final project at SCAD, directing this documentary is deeply personal. It allows me to preserve my parents’ story, reconnect with my Czech heritage, and bring an uncommon love story to the screen.

Playroom

A forgotten object hijacks Fawn's reality, pulling her into disorienting realms where nothing is as it seems. Memories slip through the cracks, but the deeper she goes the harder it is to know whats real. In a game she never chose to play, is escape just another illusion?

I co-produced this senior thesis film titled Playroom, where I collaborated closely with a dedicated team to bring the project to life. My role involved scouting and securing suitable filming locations, helping to source funding, and carefully budgeting our resources to make the most of what we had. I also coordinated catering for the cast and crew and worked to ensure all safety protocols were in place, so that each day on set could run smoothly and efficiently.

Tonight We Create

A short film based on art school and the serendipitous encouters that lead us to inspire each other. When a chance encounter between two strangers in the night sparks profound creative collaboration.

I produced this film titled Tonight We Create, where I worked closely with the director to assemble an incredible crew that balanced experienced SCAD students with individuals eager to learn and grow on set. One of the key scenes in the film was a lively party sequence featuring around 30 people on camera at once, which required careful coordination and planning. To ensure a safe, respectful environment for everyone involved, I hired an intimacy coordinator for the scene. Their presence helped maintain clear communication and comfort across the board.

Daydreamer

the illusion of love, and decides if it's worth choosing to leave reality behind, and remain in the dream of bliss. A grieving man, isolated on a rural farm, clings to the illusion of love, and decides if it's worth choosing to leave reality behind, and remain in the dream of bliss.

I co-produced a film titled Daydreamer, which was shot on an 8-acre farm in Hinesville, GA. For this production, I took the lead on coordinating transportation, securing discounted catering options to stay within budget, and maintaining clear communication with all department heads to track progress throughout pre-production. I also prioritized safety on set by ensuring all necessary precautions were in place, helping the team stay on schedule and focused during the shoot.

Entering festival run - release tbd

a senior capstone film at SCAD titled Flo-State, where I am producing and managing a $25,000 project that involves dancers from The Juilliard School, a stunt coordinator, armors, multiple locations, safety logistics and a large multi-department crew of 55 people. Coordinating complex schedules, managing budgets, preparing pitch materials, and ensuring all departments maintain clear communication has strengthened my organizational skills. Working on productions like Flo-State has taught me how to manage larger production elements while keeping the creative vision on track. See below for some recent BTs!
